Last night I made a new cookie recipe that is low fat...and it tasted GOOD!!! I found it at Here is a picture and the recipe.  I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Mix together:
2 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 tsp vanilla

Then add:
1 cup flour...I used Bob's Red Mill whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups quick oats
3/4 cup chocolate chips

Bake 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.  They are suppose to make 3 dozen but I made 2 dozen nice sized cookies.
